We are pleased to announce that we are Covid 19 Good To Go at Blervie House and will be re-opening for Guests on August 1st this year. We have been working hard with Industry Standards and are pleased to confirm that we meet Visit Scotland’s requirements to receive their Good To Go Certification and as such we are taking all necessary precautions to protect you our valuable guests, our staff and ourselves in these changing times.
To this end we have reviewed all of our procedures, carried out additional staff training, reviewed risk assessments and introduced new cleaning procedures
Your Reservation
Firstly we wish to reassure you that any reservation you make with us regardless of it being our more Cost Effective Non Refundable or our Fully Refundable Tariff becomes Fully Refundable in a Force Majeure situation such as we are currently experiencing.
Prior to Your Arrival
We will contact you by email 4 days before your arrival with any latest updates and additional information that might help your stay.
Check In/Check Out
It would be helpful to us if you could arrive as close as possible to your stated time. We are able to provide you with both Contactless Check-in and Check-Out. If you are feeling unwell please let us know immediately.
Sanitising
Hand Sanitising stations are available upon arrival and your room will be ready and waiting.
Training
All of our staff have been trained and educated regarding best practice when cleaning and disinfecting.
Cleaning
As you would expect from a 5 Star Establishment we are going above and beyond what is considered the norm and to this end all Guest Rooms and Public Spaces will be additionally sanitised with UV Light Machines. This gives you Hospital Standard Protection and eliminates 99.99999% of all known pathogens. All Guest Rooms will be treated with these machines immediately they have been vacated by our guests and have had our enhanced cleaning systems applied.
These systems are normally found in Hospitals and are proven to kill all bacteria and viruses to 99.99999% enabling new guests to enter the room immediately the procedure has finished. All Public Areas will be cleansed with these machines after use on a daily basis.
It is our intention to continue with their use for the foreseeable future to give our guests and staff confidence that we are doing our utmost to provide a safe and secure environment.
Linens
All our linens are washed by a professional laundry service. Our towels are washed in house at temperatures above 60C. All our pillow and mattress protectors are changed and cleaned between guests.
Covid 19 Housekeeping
To minimise risk our staff will not enter bedrooms whilst you are in occupancy except in the case of stays longer than 4 nights. There will be increased cleaning frequency of high touch points in public areas.
Breakfast
Depending upon the numbers of people in the house we will be offering a number of different options for Breakfast. If you are travelling together in a small group you will no doubt prefer to dine altogether in the Dining Room. However if you here to enjoy a relaxing break we are able to offer you the luxury of a Room Service Breakfast whereby you can enjoy a cooked to order breakfast and a spectacular view at the same time or if the weather is good why not sit outside?
Social Distancing
The house is spacious enough to allow Social Distancing and we have introduced additional measures to enhance this. We have a number of lounges to make your own private space and large gardens in which to enjoy the Scottish weather.
In addition you may want to check our ideas of Social Distancing Activities you can do all within a short drive of Blervie including ruined Castles, Beaches, walking routes. Alternatively you may want to think about playing some of our nearby wonderful Golf Courses.
