Is there free parking?

Yes, plenty of secure parking is available on-site for all guests with any sized vehicle.

Air: The closest international airport is Inverness, a 30-minute drive away. The airport has good connections to London, Manchester, Dublin and Amsterdam, plus additional airports. Car hire is readily available at the airport.
Train: Forres train station is 3 miles away.

Take the A96 from the airport towards Aberdeen and Forres via Nairn. At Forres, stay on the A96 until you get to the Enterprise Roundabout. Take the 3rd exit here, the 1st exit at the 2nd Roundabout and the only exit at the next roundabout. Go over the small crossroads and turn left at the junction. Go through Lower Rafford and up the hill. As you reach the 30mph signs, Blervie is on your right.

From Inverness Airport, from your plane landing, collecting your luggage and a hire car, then driving to Blervie House will take up to 1 hour 45 minutes.

Take the A96 towards Inverness to the Enterprise Roundabout at Forres, take the 1st exit here, then the 1st exit at the 2nd Roundabout and the only exit at the next roundabout. From Aberdeen Airport, allow 1 hour to collect your bags and a hire car, then a 1.5-hour drive.

Coming from Granton-on-Spey, take A939 to Forres. Near Forres, there will be a row of Estate cottages on your right, then a brown tourist sign on the left to say you are in Malt Whisky Country. Take the next turning right signposted Rafford 3 miles and Dallas Dhu Distillery. At the T junction, turn right (leaving Dallas Dhu on your left) and follow this road into lower Rafford. At the T junction, turn right again, signposted Dallas & Cardhu distillery – straight up the hill, and turn IMMEDIATE right after the 30mph signs into Blervie House.

How many nights should I book?

Please check out our Things To Do page if you are unsure how long to stay. If you are touring Scotland on a tight schedule, 1 or 2 nights work as we make a very comfortable touring base. However, most people take advantage of the discounts on our 3-night stays and enjoy getting to know the area as there is something of interest to everyone in this part of Scotland.

We have two dogs of our own, and we would prefer you not to bring your dog as some of our furnishings are very valuable, and a surprising number of guests do not like dogs. However, if your dog is an accredited Service Dog, please get in touch with us before booking, and we will do our best to accommodate you and your dog in a suitable room.
