July in Moray is one of my favourite months as we have long, light evenings sitting outside on the terrace enjoying warm temperatures. Due to the proximity of the Moray Firth we have a fabulous micro-climate and our latitude delivers long daylight hours. So, this gives us a great opportunity to catch up with everyone’s activities during their day.
July is always one of the busiest months with visitors from all over the World enjoying some of the many reasons to visit Scotland. This month alone we have guests here on an extended golf trip, some on a group family holiday and others here to enjoy some serious Whisky tasting. Actually to be fair I so enjoy spending time in Moray any month is a good month!
Of course, Scotland is the perfect touring destination and with so much to see lots of our guests are here enjoying a driving trip just absorbing the sensational scenery – something I myself never get tired of.

This part of Moray is such a great place to be outdoors so it is a perfect time for the Gordon Castle Gin Garden Party and if you like Outdoor Theatre try some of the great performances at Logie Steading.
So, grab your Summer gear, map book, walking shoes, camera and come on up and get to know Scotland – it is all here.
